NORTHERN IRELANDS MOST BESPOKE WEDDING VENUE: BASIL SHIELS

Zola and Peter's wedding day was a beautiful reflection of their unique personalities and deep love for each other. The stunning Basil Sheils venue in the heart of Co Armagh provided the perfect backdrop for their bespoke wedding, boasting private picturesque gardens and charming features throughout its beautifully restored premises.

Located along one of Ireland's historic roads, Basil Sheils exudes an undeniable charm that we, as wedding photographers, absolutely adored capturing for the first time.

Peter prepared for the big day at his parents' home in Lurgan, enjoying a relaxed and laid-back morning. We couldn't help but admire his choice of jacket, which perfectly matched the wedding's ambiance and the venue's vibe. It was also a pleasure to reunite with Peter's father, who had been our teacher at Tannaghmore School many years ago.

As we arrived at the venue, Zola was already getting ready, and we were immediately enchanted by the charm and exquisite decor of the rooms. It was an added delight to see their adorable canine companion, Frankie, all dressed up in his own tuxedo, taking part in the preparations.

Zola looked absolutely stunning in her beautiful gown from Jill Jones Bridal, the most outstanding bridal shop in Northern Ireland. We highly recommend Jill and her team for anyone in search of the perfect bridal dress. We also loved Zolas jacket, from the super talented Niamh Designs.

BASIL SHIELS WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY

After prep, we made our way to the beer garden where the wedding ceremony took place. Emma Bailey conducted the ceremony and was absolutely amazing, as she always is. We highly recommend her services. The afternoon was laid-back and everyone had a great time. The portrait session was also relaxed, just as Zola and Peter wanted it.

After the speeches, casino tables were brought in for entertainment before the dances. It was great to see something different, and the guests had a lot of fun. We had an incredible time photographing Zola and Peter's wedding at this stunning and unique venue. It was an absolute pleasure to be their wedding photographer.
